For my floral pieces I experiment with scale and transparency, taking a playful approach to integrating natural and architectural elements.
This floral series was initially created for a show with Taline Kavoukian called GARDENS IN A DANGEROUS TIME at the Gales Gallery in Toronto in 2022--though I've added a few pieces since then. Digger and Night Garden have both been adapted for use as street art on City of Hamilton signal wraps and will be seen on the streets starting this summer!

The DISCOVER series below was inspired by a visit to Butte County, California in 2022 and mimics the colour palette of the local agricultural buildings and crates. Most of the plants I photographed and included are native to the area (though I've added a few plants from my own garden!). The architectural elements are from the walnut/kiwi farming area in and around the town of Gridley, California.
